I have always been drawn to explore how we can use technology in new ways to create more compelling and engaging content. Below are a collection of content experiments—some created for clients, some created in my free time.
Interactive 360° Virtual Live Event
FinThrive—formerly nthrive—provides a broad range of software products and services for healthcare organizations. Each year the business hosts a conference for its team of 100+ sales people. Due to the COVID pandemic, the business looked for new ways of hosting the event remotely without sacrificing the excitement and engagement it historically generated.
I proposed creating an interactive 360° environment that attendees could navigate to, filled with embedded media to interact with—including a “main stage” screen where we broadcasted three days of livestream panel sessions with participants from around the globe. I led a team of project managers, art directors, visual designers, 3D artists, developers, and video producers to develop the vision for the event, which included identifying the right broadcast software to stream into the experience, and managing each days’ panelists.
